Establishment of MUICT Alumni Association
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarernsri L. Mitrpanont, Dean of Faculty of Information and Communication
Technology, cherished the idea of setting up the MUICT Alumni Association in 2012. That year, the
faculty of ICT held the first alumni meeting to listen to the alumni voices for establishing the alumni
association. On May 20, 2012, which was the 3 rd year of establishment of the faculty of ICT, the faculty
of ICT held the alumni reunion party; the “Reunite a Bright Future” activity, which also had a special
session for nomination of candidates for the MUICT Alumni Association President. After getting the list
of nominations for MUICT Alumni Association President, the faculty of ICT formally held the alumni
meeting to set up the MUICT Alumni Association until it was officially established on February 18, 2013.

The MUICT Alumni Association was founded on February 18, 2013. The first president was
Mr.Surasit Kiwprasopsak, the 6 th batch of CS alumnus and the 3 rd batch of MS alumnus, who is now the
CEO of Terabyte Net Solution Public Co., Ltd. He filled the position for 2 terms, started in 2013 and
completed his term in 2017. The second and current president is Mr. Jirawat Eauchai, the 2 nd batch of
ICT alumnus, who is now the CEO of Trinity Roots Co., Ltd. He was appointed as the MUICT Alumni
Association president last 2017. Moreover, the MUICT Alumni Association is honored to have Assoc.
Prof. Dr. Jarernsri L. Mitrpanont, Dean of Faculty of Information and Communication Technology as well
as Emeritus Professor Dr. Supachai Tangwongsan, Senior Advisor of Faculty of Information and
Communication Technology as its advisors.
